Florida Information Protection Act 2014
FIPA requires entities that collect consumer personal information to provide certain information to the consumer; providing that consumers have the right to opt out of the sale and processing of their personal information by controllers; prohibiting entities from selling the personal information of consumers younger than a specified age without express authorization from the consumer or the consumer’s parent or guardian under certain circumstances.
